New to AlphaX? Here are the steps to linking, updating or removing your phone number on the AlphaX app or website.

I. Linking Your Phone Number

Step 1: Log in to your AlphaX account on the app, select the left sidebar and click "Security Center". Look for "Phone Verification" in the Security Center section.

Step 2: Select your country/region's area code, enter your phone number and click "Link Now". Then, click "Get Code" and provide the verification codes you've received on both your phone and email. Lastly, complete linking your phone number by clicking "OK".

 

II. Updating Your Phone Number
In AlphaX Security Center, you're able to update your linked phone number under the "Phone Verification" section. Select your country/region's area code and enter the phone number you would like to update. Then, click "Send" and provide the verification codes you've received on both your phone and email. Lastly, complete updating your phone number by clicking "OK".

 

III. Removing Your Phone Number

To remove a linked phone number, visit Security Center and locate "Phone Verification". Key in the verification code you've received in your email and the Google Authenticator code. Complete removing your phone number by clicking "OK".

Notes:
1. Before updating or removing security verification options, ensure that you have linked at least 2 of the options here: Google Authenticator, phone number or email address. If not yet linked, please visit the relevant pages to do so.
2. After updating or removing security verification options, you'll have to log back into your AlphaX account.
3. To safeguard your funds, withdrawals can only be made 24 hours after updating or removing security verification options.

IV. What to Do If You Can't Receive AlphaX Phone Verification Codes?

Unable to receive AlphaX phone verification codes? We suggest you try the following steps to resolve the issue:

1. Restarting your phone
Extended period of phone usage without turning it off might prevent your phone from receiving text messages. Please try to turn off and restart your phone to see if you can get the verification code.

2. Cleaning your SMS inbox
A full inbox might hinder the receipt of new text messages. Clear out some text messages to make space for incoming verification codes.

3. Adjusting your SIM card placement
If you're using a dual-SIM phone, swapping the placement of the SIM cards might improve your chances of receiving verification codes.

4. Switching to a different device
If the above methods prove ineffective, try switching your SIM card to a different phone to see if you're able to receive the verification code.

5. Seeking assistance from support team or changing your security settings
Please consider the following methods if you're still having issues:
1) Reach out to AlphaX support team for help. Our support team will assist by adjusting the verification code's delivery method. Once it's adjusted, please attempt to resend the verification code.
2) Visit the page that requires phone verification code, click "Unavailable verification options?" and choose your linked phone number. Proceed as per the instructions on the page to remove phone verification or update your phone number. You can also reach out to our support team for assistance.
Note: To ensure the security of your account and assets, withdrawals can only be made 24 hours after updating your phone number.
